Wilbur's Grin & Grocery Runs

By day three, Wilbur had fully claimed us as his humans—at least for the week. And we were more than happy to oblige. His quirky grin, thanks to a few missing teeth and a lip that kept catching in the corner of his mouth, had become our favorite thing to wake up to. There’s nothing quite like a slightly off-center dog smile to kick off the morning.

We kept up the twice-daily walks through the Chorlton Water Park trails. Every day, new dogs, new smells, and the same pure joy from Wilbur. No matter how tired we got, he never did.

We also made a grocery run to Morrisons, where we stocked up for five days for just £59—and honestly, we were impressed. We got a full spread: meats, fresh vegetables, oat milk, eggs, cinnamon rolls, spicy horseradish mustard (a UK must!), and plenty more. Cooking at home gave us even more appreciation for the house we were staying in…
